I wanted to thank you for the days spent in Cincinnati. It was a spectacular and very high-level event. I wanted to recommend a great friend that will go to the Academy now in the course of November. A great physician and pioneer in Urogynecology in his country…I have talked to him about the wonderful experience that is going to be there with all of you.

I want to give my gratitude and a big hello to Mickey Karram and Dr. Walters, to thank all of you for all the dedication they had and thank you for this great work of education with the Academy.

The Evaluation and Management of Female Incontinence course I attended in Cincinnati was one of the best learning experience I have had. The faculty were exceptional, their passion and skill in teaching was very apparent. The structure and content of the course was ideal, Incorporating didactics, live surgeries, live patient urodynamic testing, cadaver lab, and video clips just made it all come full circle. The one on one in the cadaver lab with each faculty member, walking you through the procedure was amazing. I came back and was able to do a sling with ease and comfort. I am evaluating my patients for incontinence in a new way, with the information I gained. I have a much better idea about urodynamic testing indication, and technique. We have been able to work with a company that came to us onsite to do our urodynamics, this is through our discussions with people we met at the conference.

I attended the 3 day course in February 2012, “Evaluation and Management of female Urinary Incontinence.” I just wanted to thank you for allowing me the opportunity to take part in the course. I have to say, it was by far the most useful course I have ever attended. The course gave me the tooks to go back home, start urodynamic testing on my patients and offer appropriate incontinence procedures on my patients that were already booked for prolapse surgery!

I have now seen those patients back for their post op checks. I strongly feel that I was able to optimize the care of my patients- and that is what continuing education is really about. Thanks to Cheryl, Dr. Walters, Dr. Karram, and the group. Your system of education has been an unparalleled experience that has given me the confidence to do what I always wanted to, but had trouble finding adequate training after Residency. I have heard Dr. Walters and Dr. Karram speak before and was so impressed by their sincerity and interest in teaching. This is what brought me to this course in the first place. My respect for them has only increased after working with them in the cadaver lab. Thank you all for such a career-changing experience!
